2009 Rose City International Conductor’s workshop to be featured in Oregon Public Broadcasting Documentary
Here is an email from Kenneth Woods
Dear Colleagues
I’m very happy to announce that the 2009 Rose City International Conductor’s workshop is going to be the subject of a television documentary produced by Oregon Public Broadcasting. The production team are excited to give viewers an honest window into the world of conducting- how it works, how it is taught, what makes a conductor and what a difference a conductor can make. The team will be filming throughout the workshop and meeting and interviewing students and faculty, and the show should be broadcast in the fall. We’ll keep you posted on broadcast times and when and if it is available on line.
Meanwhile, we still have two openings in this year’s class due to cancellations. It’s not too late to be involved in a very exciting summer, and to get a chance to have your work seen by many more viewers than you might otherwise.
Contact the office at admin@rosecityworkshop.org or write me directly to let us know of your interest and to find out about logistics, scholarships and housing.
Our website has lots more information about repertoire, costs and faculty as well as our team of professional soloists. www.rosecityworkshop.org
Thanks
