The Pontificio Istituto Ambrosiano di Musica Sacra, located in Milan, Italy, has announced a sacred music conducting course open to all conductors.  The course is accredited by the European Union and will include two events to be conducted by course students.  This is a one-year course, and will include the following literature:  Perotin:  Sederunt principes; Machaut:  Messe de Notre Dame; Du Fay:  Missa Se la face ay pale; Des Prez:  Missa Pange lingua; and Palestrina:  Missa Papae Marcelli.  Students may register for the course under “Techniche di direzione corale on the University web-site (http://www.unipiams.org) until Sept. 23, 2012.  For additional information, please visit the web-site.  Simeon Paul Morrow is one of the faculty members.  An e-mail inquiry may be sent to:  <istituto@unipiams.org> or to Mr. Morrow by e-mail:  <simeon.morrow@gmail.com>.
