Repertoire NEW!!!
This year, combined with the “Conxita Badia” Singing Course held by Prof. Ana Luisa Chova, we will work both symphonic and operatic repertoire. The operatic arias list will be published on May 2013 according with the active singers from the “Conxita Badia” Singing Course.

Every single active student must prepare all symphonic works and overtures included in the following list:
Mozart: “La clemenza di Tito” Overture, “Don Giovanni” Overture
Rossini: “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” Overture, “L’italiana in Algeri” Overture
Beethoven: Symphony No. 4, “Coriolan” Overture
Mendelssohn: “The Hebrides” Overture
Schubert: Symphony No. 5
Stravisnky: Dumbarton Oaks

Strings technique lessons
Active students will have to submit bowings for the first movement of one of the symphonies included in the repertoire list (to be decided by the concertmaster Raúl García) and send the score to the course office before the 22th of June.

Sending your video
Your video must:
– be no longer than 15 minutes
– show a front view of the conductor
– ideally demonstrate a varied selection of repertoire
We recommend you to attach links from online services like youtube, vimeo… in your application email.

Piano
We strongly believe that you know really good a piece only when you have played it. That means that everybody will play the piano for the other fellows. Not just the active students but also the auditors (don’t worry, it will be 2 pianos four hands). If you want to have a look at the piano scores before the beginning of the course, contact us and we will send you them.
