The Sir Alexander Gibson Memorial Fellowship for Choral Conductors Season 2013:14 (Deadline August 16, 2013)
Applications are invited for the position of The Sir Alexander Gibson Memorial Fellowship for Choral Conductors with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
This is a choral conducting fellowship open to anyone interested in furthering his or her experience of choral conducting. The fellowship offers the recipient a remuneration of £2,500 per annum with the aim being to give experience in the preparation of the Chorus for its concerts plus an opportunity to work at a very high level with a fine and capable symphonic chorus and its Chorus Director.
The fellowship will involve attendance at rehearsals on Wednesday evenings, piano rehearsals, orchestral rehearsals and performances of the RSNO Chorus for one season from September to June.

Auditions will be held on Sunday 1 September 2013.
