Chorus America invites Fellow, Associate, and Auditor applicants for our Choral-Orchestral Conducting Masterclass, held in partnership with New York City’s Mannes College The New School for Music from February 14-17, 2014. This professional training program focuses on major works in the choral-orchestral canon that conductors are likely to encounter in their careers. A world-class, accessible faculty led by David Hayes and Jorge Mester offers both feedback on the podium and one-on-one individualized coaching. The Mannes Orchestra, chorus, and soloists will be in residence to provide an exceptional learning experience.
There are three different affordable ways to participate:

Applications for the Fellows program are due November 8, 2013; Fellows will be notified by the end of November.
  • Associates ($350) receive private lessons with a coach on an area chosen by the Associate and may include a personal video review session. Associates also observe Conducting Fellows’ podium sessions and participate in enrichment sessions on essential topics for professional development led by faculty members and special guests.
