Music - Visiting Assistant Professor/Orchestral Conductor Coe College seeks a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Music, Orchestral Conductor (Fall 2015 - Spring 2017) to coordinate and lead the school’s Orchestra and string program. The primary responsibilities will be to conduct and recruit for the Coe College Symphony Orchestra. Additional assignments will include teaching general education courses in music or other music courses appropriate to the candidate’s strengths and departmental needs. The candidate should be an effective teacher and conductor, and an enthusiastic recruiter who is able to build and maintain connections with area schools. Qualifications: * Requirements include a doctoral degree or equivalent experience (or ABD with doctorate near completion) and proven conducting experience.
