INTERNATIONAL CONDUCTORS WORKSHOP AND COMPETITION (ICWC), ATLANTA, GEORGIA The 6th Summer  ICWC in cooperation with Georgia Southern University and the Gwinnett Symphony Chamber Orchestra is scheduled for July 10 to 12, 2015. This intensive, well attended and well respected three-day workshop is open to conductors at all levels of experience, and is based on the techniques promoted by Ferrara, Monteux, Musin, and Szell. Faculty includes Adrian Gnam, Director; with Associate Directors Dr. Gregory Pritchard and Robert Gutter. Each participant will conduct a professional orchestra  in a wide variety of repertoire throughout the workshop and on a public performance.  Major benefits   include up to 70 minutes of podium time per conductor and the selection, at the end of the workshop/competition, of up to three winners  to conduct on a concert of one of three orchestras during a current or future season, depending on the orchestra and the winner’s availability. Participant fees have been reduced to $1,350.00 which includes a professionally recorded video and DVD of each participant’s orchestral sessions. Application deadline is May 29, 2015. Applications will be accepted on a first come-first served basis. Open until filled.  Upon notification of acceptance, a $500 deposit must be made with the balance due by June 5, 2015  Auditor fees are $400.00.
