POSITION: Visiting Assistant Professor of Music- Strings
Violin/Viola preferred, Conductor
This is a one-year, term position.
STARTING DATE: August 2015
DEADLINE: Screening of applicants begins immediately and continues until the position is filled.
QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Masters in Music (String performance, or in Conducting); evidence of successful teaching of strings and conducting at the college level; willingness to support the mission of a liberal arts college of the Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).
Preferred: ABD or DMA in String Performance or Conducting; record of success as a conductor at the college level; evidence of research and publishing in the candidates primary field.
