Washburn University’s Department of Music invites applications for the
position of One-year Interim Half-Time Lecturer: Director of Orchestras, beginning August 2015.
Masters in Conducting.
Experience in orchestral ensemble conducting at the collegiate level.
Teaching and Recruiting at the collegiate level.
Doctorate in Conducting.
Professional conducting experience.
Professional performing experience as an instrumentalist.
Serve as Music Director/Conductor of the Washburn University Orchestra and the Washburn University String Orchestra.
Conduct the Spring 2016 Washburn Opera Studio production.
Recruit students and maintain a public profile as a performer and teacher.
