One-Year Appointment in Music
The Music Department of Reed College seeks a composer/conductor for a one-year sabbatical replacement with open rank. Teaching responsibilities include two one-semester theory courses: Advanced Harmony (with musicianship labs) and Form and Analysis; a one-semester composition course and a one-semester elective course open to majors in an area of the instructor’s expertise; conducting the Reed College Orchestra, which rehearses twice a week; supervision of one to three senior theses in composition or other areas.
