The 8th annual ICF-Kiev will be held this summer, May 30 – June 11, 2016 in Kiev, at the magnificent Ukrainian National House of Organ and Chamber Music

The International Conductors’ Festival (ICF) offers emerging conductors the meaningful experiences that are critical to their development on and off the podium. Our programs are ideal for any conductor with advanced training who is seeking substantial and real experience conducting a professional orchestra in both rehearsals and concerts.
The 8th annual ICF-Kiev will be held this summer, May 30 – June 11, 2016 in Kiev, at the magnificent Ukrainian National House of Organ and Chamber Music. Repertoire highlights will include Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, Schubert’s B-minor Symphony (Unfinished) and Saint-Saens’ Piano Concerto no. 2 in G minor, with highly acclaimed soloist Andriy Kutasevych. Additionally, a new festival modeled after ICF Kiev, but with its own unique offerings, will be inaugurated this summer in Danville, Kentucky on the beautiful campus of Center College, July 18-30. Both ICF-Kiev and ICF-Danville will invite 7-8 conductors each, and are currently accepting applications.
Visit http://www.ConductorsFestival.org for more information and to apply. Priority consideration will be given to applications received by February 15, and applications will continue to be accepted after that date until all spots are filled by qualified candidates.
