Don Giovanni-Le nozze di Figaro-Cosi fan tutte with Maestro Wolfgang Scheidt – Beethoven Award Prague 2016

between July 30 – August 13 (arrival July 29, departure August 14)
max. 12 candidates
total 50 min. individual lessons with piano (for each candidate)
total 175 min. with orchestra and soloists + two dress rehearsals and two concerts
final concerts in Teplice Theatre, Jablonec nad Nisou Theatre and Municipal House in Prague
All admitted participants will be performing at the Final Opera Gala in Prague, but also in one of the previous concerts in either Teplice or Jablonce nad Nisou, if possible with different programmes
At the end of the Final Opera Gala in Prague the winners of the Beethoven Award 2016 will be announced and honoured
A professional DVD recording of the finale concert in Prague will be provided for each participant
Beethoven award – including a concert commitment with the North Czech Philharmonic in the season 2016/2017 and possibly also other conducting opportunities.

profile of participants: advanced students of conducting and young professional conductors
tuition fee: active 1990 € / passive 690 € (single-room accommodation with breakfast included)
