Extraordinary Summer Conducting Workshop Opportunity for Less Experienced Conductors
The International Institute for Conductors invites student conductors with at least one semester of conducting instruction to submit an application for one of its outstanding 2016 conducting workshops.
The Institute currently has 3 openings in the Advanced Conducting Academy (June 11-25), 4 openings in Conducting Choral Masterpieces (June 25-July 8) and 3 in Mastering the Concerto (July 11-22), a remarkable new course for conductors and soloists. All programs offer participating conductors the opportunity to rehearse and perform with professional orchestra (plus professional choir in Conducting Choral Masterpieces).
These are full participant slots (not auditors) that will be filled by the first qualified candidates to apply.
The application requires 2 conducting video clips. However, these videos need not be with full orchestra or band. We would accept string quartet, woodwind quintet, piano or videos with conducting lab ensembles.
Find complete program details including faculty bios, host orchestra info, repertoire, alumni endorsements, fees and online application portal at www.rconductors.com or contact Charles Gambetta at email@example.com.
