Nurturing the next generation of conductors
David Zinman founded the American Academy of Conducting at the Aspen Music festival in 2000. «We all paid attention in the world when David created it because it was a beautiful thing he did.» says conductor Robert Spano. David Zinman’s passion is the nurturing of young talent, which shows in his commitment as a conducting teacher.
