Whitman College – Orchestra Director and Music History Teacher. Appointment: Full-time, one-semester sabbatical replacement; Spring Term 2017. Responsibilities: Direct the Whitman Orchestra (a 50-student undergraduate orchestra), teach Music History 2 (Classic and Romantic), and a special topics course of the candidates choosing.  Qualifications: PhD or DMA in Music (ABD considered). Commitment to undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education. Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Start Date: Spring Term, 1/17/2017.
