Job area: Strings
Tenure-track artists/faculty members in Violin (one vacancy), Viola (one vacancy), Cello (one vacancy),
Responsibility will include:
To teach the relevant instrument at the college undergraduate and graduate levels;
To perform solo recitals and chamber ensembles;
To develop imaginative and current courses related to your area of specialty;
To assist in the establishment of the University orchestral program;
To serve the department in faculty meetings, juries, auditions and so on;
Additional teaching responsibility may be assigned based on candidate’s strengths and department needs.

Qualifications:
In order to present an excellent learning experience and offer students a thorough music education in a real-world context, the successful candidate for Instrument Department must have demonstrated success in instrumental teaching instruction at the collegiate level. Candidates must also have demonstrated excellence as a performer. A master degree in relevant field is required. Experience at internationally recognized Music School is preferred.

Job area: Voice
Tenure-track artists/faculty members in Voice (one vacancy),
Responsibilities will include:
To teach applied voice and other related courses at the college undergraduate and graduate levels;
To maintain and establish positive relationships with local choral programs;
To conduct students attending domestic and international competition;
To engage in performance activities related to your ability and needs
To develop imaginative and current courses related to your area of specialty;
To serve the department in faculty meetings, juries, auditions and so on;
Additional teaching responsibility may be assigned based on candidate’s strengths and department needs.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate needs to be an artist and pedagogue of outstanding ability with an international reputation as both teacher and performer. Master degree in relevant area is needed, PhD is preferred.

Job area: Conductor
Tenure-track artists/faculty members in Choral conductor (one vacancy)
Responsibilities will include:
To teach relevant choral course at the college undergraduate and graduate levels;
To conduct and administer academy choir ensembles;
To supervise domestic and international choral programme;
To develop imaginative and current courses related to your specialty;
To serve the department in faculty meetings, juries, auditions and so on;
Additional teaching responsibility may be assigned based on candidate’s strengths and department needs.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate need has significant experience conducting choirs at the college level and strong knowledge of choral repertoire. Master degree in relevant area is needed, PhD is preferred. Experience to win the international choir competition is preferred.

Work Place:  Suzhou, China; Work language:   English and Chinese bilingual candidate are preferred, but being bilingual is not necessary; Salary:  Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with qualification and experience; Start Date: August 2015; Application Deadline: 27th February 2015
