EUROPEAN MUSIC ACADEMY PRAGUE – TEPLICE
From July 29th till August 11th 2017, participants will work individually with top lecturers and a professional symphonic orchestra in the heart of Europe!
Our programme is focused on the interpretation of Mozart´s Le nozze di Figaro and Smetana´s The Bartered Bride.
The first stage of the masterclass will take place at the Music Academy of the Performing Arts in Prague. This will be followed by the second stage with the North Czech Philharmonic, in the beautiful spa city Teplice (in the vicinity of Dresden).
Our lecturers are internationally renowned artists with professional experience from prominent opera houses such as the Metropolitan Opera, National Theatre Prague and Sydney Opera House.
The Beethoven Award Prague will be granted to the best participants on the base of final concerts in Theaters in Teplice and Jablonec nad Nisou upon the decision of a distinguished jury. The award is connected with the contract for the concert with the North Czech Philharmonic Teplice in the season 2017/18 and other possible performances.
All our participants will also perform at the Final Opera Gala, in the prestigious Smetana Hall in the Municipal House of Prague. They will be also receive professional DVD recordings of all three final concerts.
