London Summer 2017 Masterclasses | Application Deadline 14 July 2017

The application deadline of Friday 14 July 2017 for our London Summer 2017 Masterclasses & Competitions is coming closer.

We are well-known for our active approach in looking for the best young conductors and during the last ten years we had the privilege to work with many of the raising stars of the future.

Additionally, we were fortunate to attract as participants not only world-class soloists like Emmanuel Tjeknavorian and Petr Limonov, but also concertmasters and principal players from many of the leading orchestras:
among them the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Flemish Philharmonic, Iceland Symphony Orchestra, NDR Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and English National Opera.

Matheu Kieswetter, Royal Scottish Conservatoire graduate and one of our prize-winners in 2015, has described the LCS-experience in an interview as follows:
I have never been in the company of so many great conductors in the same place, at the same time! The orchestra is also brilliant and their level of musicianship, ensemble and technique is absolutely sensational. A ‘one rehearsal’ orchestra par excellence! I learnt so much from watching them and the other conductors work. Conductors came from all over the USA, Asia, Europe and the United Kingdom – Music Directors, Associate Conductors, Doctors of music, Orchestra members from the best orchestras in the world and aspiring maestros all the same wanting to take a significant step forward in their reputation as a conductor.
