Baugé-en-Anjou, France 26th July – 2nd August 2017
In summer 2017, Opera de Baugé and conductor Konstantinos Diminakis will hold a conducting course at Les Capucins in Baugé-en-Anjou, France. The course is designed for advanced students of conducting and for young conductors who have concluded their professional training, wishing to extend their knowledge and experience in conducting and the interpretation of works of the symphonic and operatic repertoire under the guidance of maestro Diminakis. Moreover, selected participants will have the chance to lead actual stage piano rehearsals with singers, for this year’s productions of Opera de Baugé.
Professional piano répétiteurs will play for the class and the Opera de Baugé Orchestra will follow. The conducting course will be concluded with a public concert, conducted by the students and a jury panel will award honor prizes to the best contestants.

Fees :
Active participants (limited to max.10) : EUR 890.–, including full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and lodging at Baugé-en-Anjou. It is possible for students to arrive earlier than 26th July and attend the dress rehearsals and premieres of Opera de Baugé performances. The price remains the same.

Registration fee : Applicants who are admitted as active participants must pay a non-refundable registration fee of EUR 200,- after their acceptance. It will be deducted from the course fee.
