JOB SUMMARY

Mid Pacific seeks a dynamic and dedicated Orchestra Director to lead our Middle and High School orchestral program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music education, a deep understanding of orchestral repertoire, and a commitment to fostering a love of music in students of varying skill levels. This position requires a collaborative educator who can inspire students and contribute to the school community.

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Orchestral Conducting, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the middle or high school level, with a proven track record of directing successful orchestra programs.
  • Strong conducting and rehearsal techniques.
  • Proficiency in string instruments and familiarity with woodwinds, brass, and percussion.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
