Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra Conducting Academy and Maestro Discovery Project

The Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Music Director & Conductor Steven Kerstein and Assistant Conductor Michael Stanley, is proud to announce the Conducting Academy/Maestro Discovery Project which will debut as part of the Orchestra’s 30th Anniversary Season. This unique program will allow a select number of talented high school students the opportunity to conduct the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra in rehearsal and performance while gaining valuable experience in all aspects of the Music Director’s job. There is no application or participation fee. Applicants must be 18 years of age or Younger AND enrolled in a high school in the greater Los Angeles area.
