LAFCI is proud to present From Masterworks to Motion Pictures: Addressing the Modern Conductor, its first course created specifically to address the growing needs and expectations of the classically-trained conductor. Led by faculty members Jorge Mester and Angel Velez, this 6-week online course is designed to create a personalized learning experience addressing both predetermined subjects as well as topics and repertoire decided by the participant.

Each participant will receive weekly coachings on conducting and personalized repertoire with Jorge Mester along with group classes focused on score study, rehearsal technique, conducting to picture, using click track/punches and streamers, career development, as well as a faculty led conversation on repertoire and vision forward during the times of COVID-19.
