Portel International Music Festival: 17 – 29 Jul, 2021

The Portel International Music Festival takes place in the unique atmosphere of the Alentejo region in Portugal, an idyllic scenery surrounded by ample lands of Mounted of holm-oak that extend to the Alqueva lake, the largest artificial lake in Europe. The festival attracts world-renowned guest artists and top international music students. All participants will be able to work and develop their musicianship under the mentoring of the guest artists and maestro Luis Miguel Clemente.

The 2021 edition will be developed exclusively ONLINE and it will be dedicated to INSTRUMENTAL and CONDUCTING MASTERCLASSES with an excepcional guest faculty: Florent Héau (clarinet), Denis Severin (violoncello), Daniel Louro (trumpet), Gil Gonçalves (tuba), Pedro Silva (bassoon), Yuri Zhislin (violin), Hélder Alve (saxophone), Gonçalo Marques (Euphonium), António Pereira (viola) and Luis Miguel Clemente (conducting).
