Felix Mendelssohn International Conducting Competition

Felix Mendelssohn International Conducting Competition is one of the most important events of its kind.
Former winners like Marta Gardolinska (Music Director of Opéra National de Lorraine and Principal Guest Conductor of Orquesta Sinfónica de Barcelona) and Anton Shaburov (Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of Rostov Symphony Orchestra and Principal Guest Conductor of ârgu Mureș Philharmonic Orchestra) are now working at the highest level and are the clearest example of how a competition like Felix Mendelssohn Conducting Competition can boost the career of a conductor.

The Eliminatory Phase of the Second Edition will take place in Prague, New York, and Seoul in November 2023, the final phase of the competition will be held in Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic, near Prague) in January 2024.
