Youth Symphony is YOCVA’s advanced full symphony orchestra. The program is open to students 18 and under. YS rehearses on Monday evenings from September – May during the academic year in Charlottesville Virginia at MLK Performing Arts Center.

Position Start: August 1, 2024
Position Type: 10 month salaried employee.
Payroll Period: Monthly
Salary: Starting at $13,500

Interview Dates: *Candidates must be able to audition on one of the following dates to meet the audition requirements.
March 4, March 25, April 15, April 22, or April 29.

Audition Repertoire: (Subject to change. Repertoire will be confirmed upon receipt of applications)
Tchaikovsky, Symphony No. 2, Mvt. 1 & 2
Student Concerto Competition Winner (TBA)
